Restaurants in Krabi Town
Krabi Town is a ‘real’ Thai town and as such its street food reflects the Thai experience. You’ll find many ambulant and semi-permanent food stands along Maharat Road and its offshoots at night, all selling noodles, grilled meats and boiled sweet corn as well as Sino-Thai dishes that are as spicy as they are sweet.
What Bluejuice lacks in finesse in its cooking it more than makes up with a warm welcome, healthy menu choices and atmosphere. With robust jacket potatoes, meaty club sandwiches and natural vegetable soups this is the place to dine if you’re health conscious.
Opened in 1990 by Matee and Kittiya Kulpanpinunt a Thai couple in their thirties, and named after their children, May & Mark’s cuisine was based on pre-cooked curries served with rice. The new branch – offers a different version of the same concept with a modern approach: the restaurant and coffee ‘gallery’ blends wooden and aluminum materials in style, and mixes hi-tech and rustic elements to create a very cozy venue.
