Norwegian opts for Krabi flights
Krabi, 4 July 2018: Norwegian announced, Monday, a new service to Krabi in South Thailand from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm effective 31 October.
The winter season service will use a Boeing Dreamliner 787 on the route through to 31 March, offering six flights a week to the Andaman Sea coastal town.

Krabi is one of the most popular destinations for Scandinavian travellers alongside Phuket and Khao Lak.
Following Thomas Cook’s decision to open its own offices in Thailand to handle all of its European leisure travel clients, South Thailand hoteliers are expecting an increase in bookings to the three resort destinations.
Thomas Cook operates flights to Phuket’s international airport.
Norwegian will focus on Krabi with a flight out of Copenhagen on Thursday and Saturday departing Copenhagen.
From Oslo the airline will offer a twice-weekly service to Krabi on Tuesday and Sunday.
The twice-weekly service from Stockholm Arlanda to Krabi will operate on Wednesday and Friday.
In related news posted by the popular online travel news service, Standby, suggested the airline would “scale back frequencies to Krabi.”
Norwegian announced in May it would increase services from Scandinavia to Krabi from nine to 14 flights a week.
Standby said Norwegian has now confirmed it will not increase frequencies to Krabi, but focus expansion on Krabi.
The airline said open-jaw fares would allow passengers to arrive and depart through different airports giving them the opportunity to combine both Krabi (beach) and Krabi (city) holidays.
Krabi flights are year-round, while the Krabi services will available only during the winter timetable. Three flights weekly from Oslo, four from Stockholm and two from Copenhagen serve the Thai capital year-round.
